Job Details

We are a Dubai-based interior design and turnkey furnishing company providing complete A–Z furnishing solutions for residential properties.

We are seeking an organised and proactive FF&E Project & Procurement Coordinator to support projects from approved design through procurement, delivery, installation and final handover.

The successful candidate will work closely with interior designers, suppliers, contractors and management. While the designer remains responsible for the creative direction and product specifications, the coordinator will oversee the operational execution of each project.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the procurement of furniture, lighting, décor, curtains, accessories and other FF&E items based on approved designer selections.
* Request, compare and evaluate supplier quotations.
* Negotiate pricing, lead times and delivery terms with suppliers.
* Prepare and track purchase orders and payment requirements.
* Place and manage orders with local suppliers and online platforms.
* Follow up regularly with suppliers regarding production and delivery status.
* Maintain an accurate procurement tracker for each project.
* Monitor project budgets and flag cost or availability issues before orders are placed.
* Source suitable alternatives when selected products are unavailable and submit them to the designer for approval.
* Coordinate furniture, joinery, curtain, décor and other deliveries.
* Coordinate installation schedules with suppliers, contractors and site teams.
* Manage building access, delivery arrangements and work-permit requirements where applicable.
* Maintain the overall project schedule and ensure key deadlines are met.
* Identify potential delays early and implement proactive solutions.
* Attend project sites when required to inspect deliveries, monitor installation progress and follow up on outstanding work.
* Coordinate snagging, damaged-item replacements and supplier rectification.
* Support final styling and project handover.
* Provide clear and timely project-status updates to management.

The coordinator’s responsibility begins once selections and specifications have been approved. The coordinator will ensure that all items are purchased, delivered and installed according to the project schedule.

Requirements

* Previous experience in interior design, FF&E, furniture, fit-out, procurement or residential project coordination in the UAE.
* Strong knowledge of Dubai-based furniture, décor, lighting, curtain, joinery and interior suppliers is highly preferred.
* Strong supplier-management and negotiation skills.
* Excellent organisational and follow-up skills.
* Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and project-tracking tools.
* Confidence communicating with suppliers and contractors via WhatsApp, email and telephone.
* Ability to work independently and resolve operational issues quickly.
* A UAE driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage.
* Good spoken and written English.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, responsible and proactive.

The ideal candidate will not simply report that an order is delayed. Instead, they will investigate the cause, follow up with the supplier, identify alternative solutions where necessary and take action to keep the project moving.

Experience with residential furnishing projects, holiday homes, apartments, villas or turnkey furnishing companies in Dubai would be a plus.
