Job Description: Senior Brand & Packaging Designer (Perfume Industry)
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Brand & Packaging Designer with deep roots in the fragrance or luxury cosmetics industry. In this role, you will own the entire visual lifecycle of our products—from initial concept storytelling and 3D bottle structure to industrial-ready box packaging and engaging social media content.
The ideal candidate does not just design graphics; they understand the olfactory world, translating notes, ingredients, and cultural narratives into tangible, luxury tactile experiences and compelling digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Concept Development & Product Creation
- Translate fragrance profiles, mood boards, and brand briefs into cohesive visual concepts.
- Develop end-to-end product design identities, ensuring the visual story matches the scent's market positioning (e.g., oriental, niche, mass-premium).
2. Structural Bottle & Packaging Design
- Design innovative, luxury perfume bottles, including custom caps, collars, and glass silhouettes.
- Create technical layouts and aesthetic designs for outer packaging boxes, master cartons, and gift sets.
- Apply deep knowledge of premium printing techniques, including **foil stamping, embossing, debossing, UV coating, and texture selection**.
- Collaborate with the procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure technical feasibility, material stability, and alignment with factory capabilities.
3. Social Media & Digital Content Creation
- Translate physical product designs into high-converting digital assets.
- Create visually striking content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), including product renders, launch teasers, and lifestyle graphics.
- Ensure consistent visual branding across all digital touchpoints, driving engagement and brand prestige online.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of dedicated design experience **strictly within the perfume, cosmetics, or luxury FMCG industry**.
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of perfume industry trends, raw materials, fragrance storytelling, and competitor landscapes.
Technical Portfolio: A proven portfolio demonstrating successfully launched products, showing both 3D structural bottle designs and physical outer box packaging.
Software Mastery:
- Expert proficiency in **Adobe Creative Suite** (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., **KeyShot, Rhino, Cinema 4D, or Blender**) to create realistic product mockups.
Manufacturing Literacy: Familiarity with die-lines, technical drawings, print-ready files, and communication with bottle manufacturers and printers.
Digital Savvy: Strong eye for social media layouts, video snippet editing, and modern digital aesthetics.
