The Role
We are seeking a BIM / CAD Technician to support our design team in producing accurate technical drawings, BIM models, and coordinated documentation for a wide range of lighting projects.
You will play a key role in translating design concepts into detailed technical deliverables, working closely with designers, architects, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare 2D CAD drawings (AutoCAD) including lighting layouts, details, and schematics
Develop and manage BIM models (Revit) in line with project standards
Assist with lighting coordination within architectural and MEP models
Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
Support the design team with technical detailing and revisions
Liaise with external consultants to ensure coordination and clash resolution
Adhere to project deadlines and internal quality standards
Requirements
2–5 years’ experience in CAD/BIM role (lighting / MEP / architecture preferred)
Strong proficiency in:
AutoCAD
Revit (essential)
Good understanding of construction drawings and coordination workflows
Experience working on UAE / GCC projects is an advantage
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment
