We are seeking an accurate and detail-focused Documentation Clerk to prepare, verify, and manage the paperwork required for shipments, imports, exports, and customs clearance. Reporting to the Documentation Supervisor or Freight Forwarding Manager, the successful candidate will ensure that every consignment moves with complete, correct, and compliant documentation, since a single error can hold a shipment at the border for days.

The core of the role is preparing shipping and trade documentation. The Documentation Clerk prepares commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, certificates of origin, and other export or import documents required for each shipment, checking details against the sales order, letter of credit, or customer instructions before finalising. Documentation is prepared accurately the first time wherever possible, since corrections after submission to customs or carriers cause delays and additional cost.
