Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie – Robata Grill to join our kitchen team for the launch of our new restaurant project in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the opening team and help establish high standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using the Robata grill.
• Handle meats, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients for grilling.
• Maintain consistent cooking temperatures, timing, seasoning, and presentation.
• Complete daily mise en place and ensure the grill section is fully prepared for service.
• Follow recipes, portion control, and food presentation standards.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and minimize food wastage.
• Work closely with the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Maintain and clean the Robata grill and section equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Japanese or Asian restaurant.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie – Robata Grill / Grill is required.
• Strong knowledge of Japanese/Asian grilling techniques and ingredient preparation.
• Good knife skills and understanding of food quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
• Candidates available to join immediately are preferred.
