Job Details
1. Sets-up daily mise-en-scene. Cuts and prepares foodstuffs and ingredients for cooking.
2. Cooks food following standard recipes and under supervision, if needed. Listens and follows the instructions with regards to new recipes.
3. Measures and mixes ingredients according to standard recipes, using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment.
4. Obtains cooked food or items from the freezer and heats pre-cooked food items as orders arrive.
5. Portions-off, trims and garnishes food items on serving plates.
6. Adjusts thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters and other kitchen equipment.
7. Ensures the cleanliness, orderliness and maintenance of equipment, work areas and cold rooms.
8. Ensures that all doors are locked before signing out of the pool area.
