Job Title: Cake Chef (Display & Customized Cakes)
Job Description / Responsibilities
1. Prepare and decorate all types of basic display cakes, including buttercream cakes, fresh cream cakes, and standard celebration cakes.
2. Create customized cakes based on customer requirements, including fondant cakes, themed cakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and special occasion cakes.
3. Produce approximately 10–15 standard cakes per day while maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and taste standards.
4. Design and complete 3–4 customized fondant cakes per day, ensuring attention to detail and customer specifications.
5. Communicate directly with customers through phone calls and WhatsApp to understand cake requirements, themes, flavors, sizes, and budgets.
6. Provide professional recommendations and creative suggestions to customers regarding cake designs, flavors, decorations, and customization options.
7. Maintain excellent customer service standards with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ensure proper preparation, baking, filling, frosting, and finishing of cakes while following hygiene and food safety standards.
9. Manage inventory of cake ingredients, fondant, decorations, and bakery supplies, and report stock requirements when needed.
10. Work efficiently to meet production schedules, delivery timelines, and quality standards while keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in making display cakes, buttercream cakes, and fondant cakes.
* Strong cake decorating and customization skills.
* Ability to handle customer inquiries confidently via phone and WhatsApp.
* Good communication and sales-oriented customer service skills.
* Creative mindset with attention to detail.
