We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead and elevate our pastry and chocolate production team.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on pastry professional with strong expertise in chocolate work, classic pastry production, and dessert innovation. You should have a strong creative mindset, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to consistency, quality, and presentation.
This role requires both production leadership and advanced pastry craftsmanship, overseeing daily operations while ensuring premium-quality output across all products.
Key Responsibilities: * Develop, prepare, and refine premium pastries, desserts, and chocolate-based products * Prepare and produce a variety of classic desserts such as macarons, tiramisu, cheesecakes, and other pastries from scratch to finish * Scale recipes from test development to large-scale production while maintaining consistency * Ensure high standards in taste, texture, presentation, and portion control * Lead and manage pastry production workflow efficiently * Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control of ingredients and supplies * Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards * Train, supervise, and mentor pastry team members when required * Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu development and special projects
Requirements: * Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef, or Senior Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen or production environment * Must be skilled in making pastries from scratch to finish, including macarons, tiramisu, cheesecakes, and similar desserts * Ability to produce high-quality pastry and chocolate products consistently at scale * Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills * Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and presentation standards * Ability to work under pressure and meet strict production deadlines * Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required * Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards * A HACCP Level 3 Certificate is required * IMMEDIATE JOINERS PREFERRED.
