Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Live-In Cook to support a private household. The role involves preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to the family’s preferences, with a strong focus on quality, hygiene, and consistency.

The successful candidate will be organised, discreet, and able to manage all aspects of meal preparation independently.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) for the family
Cater to children-friendly meals as well as adult preferences
Ensure meals are nutritious, balanced, and varied
Manage weekly menu planning in consultation with the family
Handle grocery shopping and kitchen inventory management
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times
Store food safely and minimise waste
Accommodate any dietary requirements or preferences
Support occasional meal preparation for guests if required

Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook in a private household or similar setting
Ability to prepare a variety of cuisines (home-style, healthy meals, children’s meals)
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
Organised and able to manage kitchen operations independently
Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy
Good communication skills
