The ideal candidate should be passionate about food, highly hygienic, organised, and comfortable preparing a variety of international cuisines while adapting meals to the household’s preferences.

Cuisine Experience:
The chef should be confident and experienced in preparing:

* Mediterranean cuisine
* Arabic / Middle Eastern cuisine
* Asian cuisine
* Italian cuisine
* Additional international cuisines are a strong advantage

The ability to prepare both healthy everyday meals and more elaborate dishes for guests or special occasions is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare fresh daily meals according to the household’s preferences and dietary requirements.
* Plan varied and balanced menus while keeping meals interesting.
* Maintain exceptionally high standards of personal hygiene, food safety and kitchen cleanliness.
* Source and select fresh, high-quality ingredients.
* Manage grocery shopping and maintain appropriate kitchen stock.
* Properly store, label and rotate ingredients to minimise waste.
* Keep the kitchen, equipment and food preparation areas clean and organised.
* Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies and specific nutritional preferences when required.
* Prepare meals for family members as well as occasional guests and gatherings.
* Be flexible with menus and willing to learn or recreate requested dishes.

Requirements:

* Proven professional experience as a Private Chef, Personal Chef or in a high-quality restaurant/hospitality environment.
* Strong knowledge of Mediterranean, Arabic, Asian and Italian cooking.
* Excellent understanding of food hygiene, safe food handling and kitchen sanitation.
* Fluent in English with good communication skills.
* Able to work independently and manage a household kitchen efficiently.
* Professional, discreet, trustworthy and respectful of privacy.
* Well-organised, punctual and reliable.
* Able to accommodate changing preferences and requests.
* References from previous employers are highly preferred.
