We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Construction Foreman to lead site crews and ensure that work is completed to specification, on schedule, and without incident. Reporting to the Site Engineer or Project Manager, the successful candidate will translate drawings and programme requirements into daily work assignments and supervise their execution on the ground.
The core of the role is day-to-day site supervision. The Foreman allocates labour and equipment to activities each morning, briefs the crew on the day's scope, sequence, and hazards, and monitors progress through the shift against the construction programme. Work is checked as it proceeds against drawings, specifications, and method statements, with deviations identified and corrected before they are built in. The Foreman coordinates directly with subcontractors and other trades to avoid clashes on the workface and keeps the Site Engineer informed of progress, obstacles, and any instruction that affects sequence or design.
