Key Responsibilities
Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, drill, rout, and assemble aluminium profiles and glass panels in accordance with technical shop drawings and cutting lists.
Site Installation: Mount, anchor, and align aluminium frameworks, glass panels, shopfronts, and curtain walls into structural openings on site.
Precision Measurement: Take accurate field measurements, evaluate structural openings, and ensure alignment using levels and lasers.
Sealing & Weatherproofing: Apply structural silicone, weather sealants, rubber gaskets, and flashings to ensure airtight, waterproof, and soundproof installations.
Hardware Fitting: Install and calibrate accessories such as door locks, handles, friction hinges, floor springs, and sliding track mechanisms.
Safety & Standards: Utilize safety equipment and glass suction tools in compliance with site safety codes, especially when working at elevated heights.
Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, re-align, or replace defective glass panels, damaged aluminium framing, and worn hardware.
