Job Details
Gruvtech is seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Fighting Technician to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in the installation, testing, maintenance, and servicing of various fire protection systems and mechanical fluid control components.

Installation & Assembly: Install, align, and test fire fighting piping systems, grooved fittings, valves, and related mechanical equipment according to project drawings and safety standards.
Maintenance & Servicing: Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on fire suppression systems, pumps, and networks.
Testing & Commissioning: Assist in pressure testing, flow testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems to ensure complete compliance with local civil defense regulations and codes.
Site Coordination: Work closely with the project foreman and technical team to ensure site work progresses safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of fire fighting piping systems (including grooved/welded/threaded piping) within the UAE construction or MEP sector.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fire protection layouts, wet/dry riser systems, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and standard site tools/equipment.
Education: Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent vocational training in mechanical/plumbing works.
Communication: Good working knowledge of English (verbal and written); ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is a strong advantage.
