Job Details

Key Responsibilities
• Install, test, and commission water supply, drainage, sanitary, and firefighting plumbing systems as per approved drawings and IFC documents.
• Lay and join pipes (PPR, uPVC, GI, copper, HDPE) using appropriate fittings, jointing, and pressure-testing methods.
• Fix and connect sanitary fixtures, fittings, valves, pumps, water tanks, and related accessories.
• Carry out pressure testing, leak detection, and flushing of systems prior to handover.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing plumbing installations.
• Coordinate with other MEP trades (electrical, HVAC, civil) to avoid clashes on site.
• Adhere strictly to HSE requirements, including working at heights, confined-space, and hot-work procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials, and report shortages or defects to the foreman.
• Support inspections by consultants, Dubai Municipality, and authorities; rectify snags promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
• ITI / Diploma / trade certificate in Plumbing or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of plumbing experience, preferably with a UAE/GCC contracting company.
• Working knowledge of UAE plumbing codes and Dubai Municipality standards.
• Familiarity with firefighting and drainage systems is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of pipe materials, jointing techniques, and pressure testing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and isometrics.
• Manual dexterity, physical fitness, and attention to detail.
• Awareness of site safety practices (third-party HSE certification preferred).
• Basic English communication; team-oriented
