Job Details
We are looking for an experienced, organized and trustworthy *live-in Housekeeper* who knows how to cook and manage the day-to-day running of our family home in Dubai.
The right person should be able to work independently, take initiative and maintain the home to a consistently high standard.
*Main responsibilities*
- Prepare fresh daily meals, mainly European and Asian cuisine.
- Plan weekly menus according to the family’s preferences.
- Handle grocery shopping and know where to find good-quality ingredients in Dubai.
- Keep track of kitchen and household supplies and replenish them when needed.
- Manage household purchases, budgets and receipts in an organized manner.
- Handle daily cleaning, tidying and general home organization.
- Take care of laundry, ironing and wardrobes.
- Keep the kitchen, cupboards, refrigerator and storage areas clean and organized.
- Anticipate household needs and ensure the home runs smoothly without constant supervision.
*Requirements*
- Previous experience as a cook and housekeeper in a private family home.
- Good cooking skills, particularly in European and Asian cuisine.
- Familiarity with Dubai and its supermarkets, markets and specialist food shops.
- Fluent spoken English.
- Strong cleaning, laundry and ironing skills.
- Very tidy, detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to plan tasks, manage priorities and work independently.
- Honest, discreet, reliable, proactive and hardworking.
- Willing to live in the family home.
- References from previous employers.
