We are a library based in Dubai, Al Quoz. We are looking for a Café Attendant / Cleaning Assistant to join our team. The Café Attendant will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment at the library.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in each serving.
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take orders, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Skillfully operate a simple coffee machine to make espresso shots, lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based hot and cold drinks.
- Keep the coffee preparation area, equipment, and seating area clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Regularly clean and maintain the coffee machine and other equipment to keep them in good working order.
- Ensure an adequate supply of coffee shots, milk, cups, lids, and other essentials is always available.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of coffee, milk, and other ingredients to maintain high beverage standards.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, food safety regulations, and company policies.
- Efficiently manage time to handle multiple orders and customer requests.
- Respond positively to customer feedback, ensuring their concerns and preferences are addressed.
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks in the library, and take full responsibility for the library cleaning during the cleaner's absence.
- Assist with event setup, including logistics such as the arrangement of chairs and tables, and catering setup.
- Assist the line manager in daily tasks related to the venue maintenance and readiness.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in coffee preparation and serving
- Good English communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Complete flexibility in accommodating various work schedules and tasks
- Ability to work six days a week, 9 hours a day + 1 hour break, with a rest day on Monday

Monthly salary: AED 3000 all-inclusive
