We are seeking a diligent and detail-conscious Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public and back-of-house areas of the property. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper, the successful candidate will ensure that lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and shared spaces are consistently clean and welcoming, since these areas shape a guest's impression of the property continuously throughout their stay, not just at check-in.
The core of the role is routine cleaning of public spaces. The Public Area Attendant cleans and maintains lobbies, corridors, elevators, staircases, meeting rooms, and public restrooms throughout the shift, vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting and polishing surfaces and fixtures, and cleaning glass, mirrors, and high-touch points frequently. Public restrooms in particular are checked and refreshed regularly through the day, not just at fixed intervals, since a poorly maintained restroom is one of the fastest ways a guest's opinion of the property drops.
