**PRIVATE HOUSEKEEPER / HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT – DUBAI**

**UK family seeking Brazilian or Latin American housekeeper**

A British family living in Dubai is looking for an experienced, professional and warm full\-time housekeeper / household assistant to join their home on a long\-term basis\.

**Salary:** AED 10,000–12,000 per month for the right candidate
**Location:** Dubai, UAE
**Accommodation:** Live\-out preferred, although excellent private live\-in accommodation can be provided
**Visa:** UAE employment visa provided
**Position:** Full\-time, long\-term

### About the family

British family with two children, aged **10 and 13**\.

The children are independent and **this is not a full\-time nanny position**\. However, we would particularly like someone who enjoys being around older children and can occasionally supervise or babysit when required\.

An important part of the role is bringing **Spanish or Portuguese into the children’s everyday environment**\. They are interested in improving their language skills, so we would love to find someone who will naturally speak Spanish or Portuguese with them and help them become increasingly confident and conversational\.

Formal teaching qualifications are **not required** — natural conversation, encouragement and interaction are more important\.

### Main responsibilities

The position is primarily focused on maintaining and organising the family home to a very high standard, including:

• High\-standard daily housekeeping and cleaning
• Laundry and excellent ironing
• Wardrobe and clothing organisation
• Changing and organising bed linen
• Maintaining kitchens, bathrooms and living areas to an excellent standard
• Household organisation and maintaining supplies
• Shopping and errands when required
• Packing and unpacking for family travel
• Taking initiative in the day\-to\-day running of the home
• Occasional babysitting/supervision of the 10 and 13\-year\-old children
• Naturally speaking Spanish or Portuguese with the children and encouraging their language development

### Ideal candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates from:

**Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Peru or elsewhere in Latin America\.**

Native or fluent **Brazilian Portuguese or Latin American Spanish** is highly desirable\.

Conversational English is preferred\.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm and friendly
• Trustworthy and discreet
• Extremely organised
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Excellent with older children
• Comfortable becoming a long\-term and trusted member of the household
• Experienced in maintaining a high\-standard private residence

Previous private household or 5\-star hospitality experience would be an advantage\.

Excellent references will be required\.

**Package**

AED **10,000–12,000 per month**, depending on experience\.

Live\-out is preferred for a candidate already established in Dubai\.

Alternatively, **private live\-in accommodation can be provided** for an exceptional candidate\.

UAE employment visa and appropriate employment arrangements provided\.

We are looking for the right person for a **long\-term position**, rather than simply filling a housekeeping vacancy\.
