We are looking for a vibrant, organized, and customer-focused Salon Receptionist to join our team. As the first and last face our clients see, you will play a crucial role in shaping their experience and keeping our salon running smoothly.

Main Job Requirements & Responsibilities
1. Front Desk & Appointment Scheduling (Primary)
Manage the salon’s booking system with high accuracy (scheduling, rescheduling, and optimizing daily technician calendars).

Warmly greet clients upon arrival, manage check-ins/check-outs, and handle payments.

Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage text/social media inquiries promptly and professionally.

Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized front desk and waiting area.

2. Customer Feedback & Review Collection (Primary)
Actively engage with clients post-service to ensure total satisfaction.

Encourage happy customers to leave positive reviews on Google.

Handle client feedback or complaints with grace, empathy, and professionalism.

3. Social Media & Content Creation (Secondary Focus)

Capture high-quality photos and videos of our nail technicians' beautiful work (before/after transformations, nail art close-ups).

Create engaging short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories) to showcase salon vibes, trending colors, and promotions.

Assist in keeping our social media feed active, trendy, and visually appealing.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist or coordinator, ideally within the beauty, wellness, or hospitality industry.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with salon management software (e.g., Fresha, V
Salonist is a huge plus.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a genuinely friendly and upbeat personality.

Eye for Aesthetics: A passion for beauty trends and a good eye for lighting/framing social media photos and videos.

Multitasking: Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure during peak salon hours.
Hiring Process & Trial Period

Interview Phase: Initial resume screening followed by an in-person interview.

Trial Period: A minimum 1-month paid trial period will be required. This allows both parties to ensure the role is a perfect fit.

Permanent Offer: A formal, long-term employment contract will be extended upon successful completion of the trial period.
