Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping: data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
Support UAE VAT return preparation under supervision
Help process monthly WPS (Wage Protection System) salary transfers
Reconcile revenue from multiple channels (Uber, Careem, Bolt, corporate accounts, hotel contracts) against platform statements
Track fleet-related costs: RTA permit renewals, insurance, maintenance, and fuel expenses
Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
Assist in preparing monthly reports and basic P&L summaries under senior guidance
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Handle petty cash and expense tracking
Perform other ad-hoc administrative/finance tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic understanding of UAE VAT and accounting principles
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)
Willingness to learn fleet/dispatch ERP systems (e.g., cabman.ae)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Fluent English required; Arabic or Russian a plus
Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, hands-on environment
