Job Title: Assistant Accountant (Multi-Branch)
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Finance Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Emirates Hills, Dubai
Job Purpose:-
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to manage the daily financial operations of our growing multi-branch restaurant group.
In this role, you will be responsible for auditing daily branch sales, reconciling POS reports, and processing vendor invoices to ensure accurate financial tracking across all our locations.
Key Responsibilities:-
Daily Sales & Revenue Audit
Reconcile daily POS reports from all restaurant branches against actual cash drops, credit card settlements, and third-party delivery platform reports (e.g., Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem).
Identify and investigate any cash shortages, overages, or discrepancies by coordinating directly with Branch Managers.
Verify online payment gateway settlements and ensure accurate recording of promotional discounts or vouchers.
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management Process and log supplier invoices for food, beverage, packaging, and operating supplies across all locations.
Match delivery notes (LPOs) with invoices and store manager grns (goods received notes) to ensure pricing accuracy.
Maintain the supplier ledger and prepare payment schedules according to agreed credit terms.
Inventory & Expense Control
Assist in reconciling monthly physical stock counts against ERP data to flag high food-waste or variance areas.
Audit petty cash expenses submitted by each branch, ensuring all receipts match company policies.
Track branch-specific utility bills, rent schedules, and maintenance costs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the F&B, hospitality, or retail sectors handling multi-site operations.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Oracle, etc. ).
Core Competencies: High attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and excellent communication skills to liaise with restaurant operational staff.
Preference will be given for immediate joiner available in the UAE.
