Job Details

We are seeking a diligent General Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support tax/compliance activities. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, solid knowledge of accounting software, and hands-on experience with end-to-end accounting processes.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
- Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing, payments, and collections
- Purchase & Sales Invoicing: Generate and track purchase and sales invoices
- Bank, Vendor & Customer Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts
- Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits as required
- VAT Filing (Quarterly): Prepare and file VAT returns on a quarterly basis
- Corporate Tax Support: Assist with corporate tax compliance and documentation
- Debtors & Creditors Management: Monitor aging and manage credit terms
- Payroll Processing: Handle payroll calculations and processing
- Salary Preparation: Prepare salary runs and related disclosures
- Leave Salary & Gratuity Calculation: Calculate leave encashment and gratuity liabilities
- Annual Benefits Disbursement: Manage annual benefits disbursement processes
- Petty Cash Management: Track and reconcile petty cash expenditures

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA preferred)
- Relevant experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax considerations (if applicable)
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
