Overview
The accountant is a key member of the Accounting and Bookkeeping department, responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Responsibilities:
-Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
-Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
-Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
-Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
-Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
-Handle payroll processing and related tax filings.
-Assist in tax preparation and compliance.
-Collaborate with auditors during financial audits.
-Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements:
-Be a Certified Public Accountant
-Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
-Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
-Proficiency in accounting software.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
