Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to manage our daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and be capable of handling end-to-end bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Transactions: Record and process daily journal entries, invoices, and payments accurately.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor payments and follow up on outstanding client receivables to ensure healthy cash flow.

Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and petty cash reconciliations.

VAT Compliance: Prepare and assist in filing monthly/quarterly VAT returns in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.

Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly MIS reports, financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet), and year-end audit schedules.

Payroll Processing: Manage monthly payroll through the WPS (Wages Protection System).

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in the UAE market.

Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally Prime, QuickBooks, SAP Business One, or Zoho Books.

Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is mandatory.

Certifications: Progress toward professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a significant advantage.

Availability: Candidates on a transferable visa or who can join immediately are preferred.
