Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant with strong experience in global financial markets to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing fund accounting activities, ensuring accurate NAV calculations, and supporting investment operations across multiple asset classes and international markets, office is in JLT DMCC
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for various funds (hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds, etc.)
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly fund accounting activities
• Monitor and reconcile global investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative assets
• Ensure accurate pricing of securities across international markets and multiple time zones
• Review fund expenses, accruals, and income allocations
• Perform cash and position reconciliations with custodians and brokers
• Coordinate with external administrators, auditors, and custodians
• Support financial reporting, including investor reports and regulatory filings
• Analyze fund performance and investigate discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior team members and review their work

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA )
• 5–8+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with global markets exposure
• Strong knowledge of international financial instruments and markets
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and FX hedging
• Familiarity with fund structures (hedge funds, private equity, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems or similar
