About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant who can support our trading and logistics operations. This is a hybrid role combining finance, administrative coordination, and supply chain documentation. You will act as the bridge between our warehouse, logistics partners, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Documentation
Manage daily bookkeeping, including processing procurement and sales invoices, and recording company expenses.
Apply for government import/export documents and coordinate with logistics providers regarding shipment delivery and warehousing transfers.
Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations.
External Liaison & Compliance
Coordinate with external tax agents to prepare documents for quarterly bookkeeping and annual audits.
Act as the focal point for IFZA partner communication: follow up on staff ID applications/cancellations and trade license renewals.
Note: This role involves administrative follow-up and coordination only; no physical visits to government offices (PRO work) are required.
Warehouse & Inventory Support
Coordinate with the warehouse team to reconcile upstream and downstream logistics data.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
Experience: Proven working experience as an Accountant in the UAE, preferably within a Trading or Logistics company.
Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and basic import/export documentation processes.
Skills: Strong Excel skills and good command of written English for official correspondence.
Personality: Organized, communicative, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
