Job Details
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance holder.
* Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping processes, both manual and utilizing accounting software.
* Strong background knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE taxation, including e-invoicing.
The responsibilities of the bookkeeper shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Preparation of bookkeeping reports, including financial statements, in accordance with IFRS or IFRS for SMEs.
2. Assist Clients with their taxation requirements, including advisory services and compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
3. Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge of Ministry of Finance (MOF) and FTA legislation, regulations, and relevant decisions pertaining to taxation.
4. Demonstration of full ownership of assigned processes, with the ability to work independently and serve as a primary point of contact within the role.
5. Monitoring of tax-related updates applicable to clients and issuance of timely reminders and communications.
6. Development of accurate and informative short-form content (mini blogs) related to bookkeeping and taxation in the UAE.
