Job Details

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
Prepare and monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Follow up on outstanding customer payments and supplier balances.
Prepare quotations, invoices, credit notes, and payment records as required.
Reconcile bank accounts, customer accounts, supplier accounts, and petty cash.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries.
Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and project profitability analysis.
Handle VAT accounting, VAT returns, and related documentation in compliance with UAE regulations.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and clients when required.
Ensure timely payments to suppliers and accurate recording of expenses.
Monitor project-wise income, costs, and profitability.
Assist management with financial analysis and cost control.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1 - 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE is preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and basic UAE accounting requirements.
Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Zoho is highly preferred.
Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience handling complete accounting cycles.
Good understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow.
Experience in a project-based, construction, exhibition, events, or interior company will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
