About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a dynamic hospitality organisation in Dubai. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the full finance function, driving financial performance, ensuring robust controls and compliance, and partnering closely with operations to support profitable growth across F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including month-end closing, preparation of accurate and timely P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements (individual and consolidated where applicable).
• Drive the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting in close collaboration with General Managers and department heads; analyse variances and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, labour laws, and relevant hospitality standards (including USALI where applicable).
• Maintain strong internal controls, oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital optimisation.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure audit-ready records and timely resolution of findings.
• Provide commercial financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management to support cost control, revenue enhancement, and business decisions.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team; foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Operations, F&B, Procurement, and HR on cost control initiatives (including food & beverage cost analysis where relevant).
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of progressive finance experience, prior experience in the hospitality, hotel, or F&B sector is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Solid understanding of UAE tax and regulatory requirements (VAT and Corporate Tax).
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
• UAE or GCC experience is an advantage.
