Accountant Required – Minimum 3 Years of Experience
A company operating in the transportation and shipping industry is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and responsible Accountant to join its finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Record and maintain the company’s financial transactions and documents
* Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
* Follow up on customer payments and outstanding receivables
* Perform bank, cash, and account reconciliations
* Prepare financial and management reports
* Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents
* Work efficiently with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or shipping companies is preferred
* Familiarity with customer accounts, transportation costs, invoicing, and settlements
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-up abilities
* Ability to maintain the confidentiality of financial information
