Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team and manage accounting, inventory, reporting, and UAE VAT compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle day-to-day and end-to-end accounting operations
• Prepare financial statements and month-end closing
• Manage GL, journal entries & bank reconciliations
• Handle AP/AR and cash flow
• Reconcile POS sales and accounts
• Monitor and reconcile inventory of gold, diamonds, gemstones & jewellery
• Conduct stock reconciliation and investigate variances
• Manage UAE VAT compliance and support audits
• Prepare sales, margin & inventory reports
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
• 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience
• 2+ years UAE experience preferred
• Jewellery, gold, retail or wholesale experience is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting
• Experience with ERP/POS systems
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Good communication and attention to detail
• Immediate joiners preferred
Preferred: Filipino female candidates currently based in the UAE with relevant UAE experience.
