We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Financial Controller to oversee the organisation's financial operations, reporting, and controls. Reporting to the CFO, General Manager, or Managing Director, the successful candidate will own the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data, and act as the senior finance authority for day-to-day operational decisions.
The core of the role is financial reporting and control. The Financial Controller oversees the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Month-end and year-end close processes are managed to a strict timetable, with reconciliations reviewed, variances investigated, and adjustments justified rather than pushed through to hit a deadline. The controller is ultimately accountable for the numbers that go to senior management, the board, and external stakeholders.
