Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record invoices, payments, supplier bills, and expenses in QuickBooks.
- Perform bank, payment gateway, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare client credit reports, receivables ageing reports, discrepancy reports, and other financial reports.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Prepare and send customer statements of account.
- Manage accounts payable and process supplier payments.
- Support payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Manage UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, calculations, documentation, and filings.
- Prepare financial and management reports as required.
- Maintain organised accounting records, invoice receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Respond to finance-related enquiries from customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Support audits and provide ad hoc financial analysis when requested.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A recognised professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong practical experience using QuickBooks.
- Robust knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and organisational ability.
- Lives in Dubai.
