Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in Procurement Executive, Procurement Assistant, Purchasing Assistant, or related procurement positions in the UAE. I am an MBA graduate specialising in Finance and Human Resources, with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and practical experience in procurement, supplier coordination, quotation analysis, inventory monitoring, purchase orders, invoice verification, and cost control.
I have two years of practical experience as a Procurement Associate at Royal Foods, where I supported procurement activities for more than 15 raw material and packaging categories while coordinating with more than 10 local vendors. My responsibilities included supplier coordination, quotation comparison, purchase order follow-up, inventory monitoring, delivery tracking, incoming material verification, and maintaining procurement documentation.
During my previous role, I supported supplier price negotiations and detailed RFQ comparisons, contributing to a 5–8% reduction in purchasing costs. I also monitored daily inventory levels and stock replenishment, which helped reduce stockout incidents by approximately 15%. In addition, I tracked pending orders and delivery schedules and helped maintain an on-time delivery rate of more than 95%, supporting smooth and continuous production operations.
I also gained experience checking incoming materials for quantity, quality, and purchase order compliance before store receipts were issued. I maintained purchase order records, supplier invoices, and other procurement documentation according to company requirements. These responsibilities helped me develop strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of accurate procurement records.
My educational background in finance complements my procurement experience. I completed an MBA with a major in Finance and Human Resources and previously completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. Because of my finance background, I understand the importance of cost control, accurate invoice verification, efficient purchasing, and responsible use of company resources.
My key skills include vendor sourcing and management, procurement and purchasing, RFQ/RFI quotation analysis, Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes, inventory and stock monitoring, purchase order processing, invoicing, cost control, VAT compliance, Incoterms such as FOB and CIF, SAP ERP, and MS Excel.
I am a responsible, detail-oriented, and motivated professional who is interested in building a long-term career in procurement and supply chain operations in the UAE. I am comfortable coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, following up on pending orders, comparing quotations, monitoring stock requirements, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. I am also willing to learn new ERP systems, company procedures, procurement policies, and industry-specific requirements.
I am currently looking for an opportunity in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE where I can apply my existing procurement experience and continue developing my professional skills.
