Dear Hiring Manager,
I'm Mohammed Misbah, a Python backend developer based in Dubai with 2.5 years of experience building systems that hold up under real production load — not just systems that work in a demo.
What sets my background apart is range. I've built a fraud scoring engine for a live banking platform at Zilbank, where every API call carried financial risk. I've rebuilt Azure CI/CD pipelines at RCS Tech, where the problem wasn't the code — it was how slowly and unreliably it reached production. And I've built a multi-tenant SaaS platform on my own, from database schema to SSL configuration, where there was no senior engineer to catch my mistakes before deployment.
Each of those environments taught me a different lesson about backend engineering. Banking taught me to treat every input as a potential attack. Infrastructure work taught me that a fast API is worthless if the deployment pipeline around it is slow and brittle. Building solo taught me to think end-to-end, because there was no one else responsible for the parts I didn't consider.
Technically, I work across FastAPI, Django, and Flask for API development; PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis for data and caching; Celery for background processing; and both AWS and Azure for deployment. I also use OAuth2, JWT, and tools like Snyk and SonarQube to keep security built-in rather than bolted on afterward.
I'm not looking for a role where I repeat the same task — I'm looking for a team where the problems are varied enough that this range actually matters.
