Application for the Position of Light Vehicle Driver
Dear Sir / Madam,
I wish to apply for the position of Driver within your organisation. I hold a Sharjah-issued light vehicle driving licence and bring 2+ years of continuous
driving and delivery experience in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, having worked in daily delivery operations since April 2024.
In my current role I collect and deliver customer consignments across Dubai as instructed by dispatch staff, verify addresses and locations before each
drop, plan routes around traffic and delivery timings, secure items safely in the vehicle, obtain confirmation on handover, collect and reconcile cash
payments, and maintain accurate daily delivery records.
I know the Dubai road network well, work confidently with navigation applications, and maintain a clen driving record with punctual timings across
residential, commercial and high-rise locations. I also carry out daily vehicle checks on fuel, tyres, lights and cleanliness, and report any faults for
workshop attention.
I am a Pakistani national on an employment visa in the UAE and speak English, Urdu and Hindi. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my
