I am writing to express my interest in the Chef/Cook position in your organization. I am a hardworking and dedicated culinary professional with approximately 4 years of experience in the food and restaurant industry, including experience in Dubai and Sri Lanka.

I have worked as a Food Cook at JJ Chicken Restaurant, Dubai, where I prepared grilled chicken, burgers, sandwiches, and shawarma. My responsibilities included preparing ingredients according to recipes, grilling, frying, baking, checking food freshness, presenting dishes, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

I also worked as a Chef at Italian House Restaurant, Dubai, preparing a wide variety of dishes including pasta, pizza, grilled items, salads, sandwiches, burgers, lasagna, calzone, crepes, waffles, and pancakes. I was responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food efficiently, maintaining proper presentation, supervising cooks, monitoring food stock, and assisting with kitchen operations.

Earlier in my career, I gained additional experience as a Food Cook at Horizon Hill Hotel in Sri Lanka, where I prepared dishes such as fried rice and grilled food.

I have also completed Basic Food Safety Training in Dubai and passed the Person-in-Charge Advanced examination, giving me additional knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and proper kitchen practices.

I am hardworking, responsible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment. I am confident that my practical cooking experience, food preparation skills, and knowledge of kitchen hygiene would allow me to make a positive contribution to your team.
