Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply for the Accountant position at your esteemed organization. I am a results-
driven accounting professional with over five years of experience in accounts payable and
receivable management, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and reconciliation
activities, supported by strong exposure to ERP systems and UAE accounting practices.
I have worked as an Accountant at FASO Construction LLC, Dubai, where I managed end-to-
end AP and AR functions, ensured accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and well-
organized financial documentation. My responsibilities included general ledger maintenance,
bank reconciliations, month-end closing activities, budgeting support, and variance analysis. I
also coordinated with suppliers, internal departments, auditors, and external partners to resolve
discrepancies and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
In my previous role as an Accountant at SNG Employment & Facility Services, Dubai, I assisted
with daily accounting operations including invoice processing, expense verification, journal
entries on an accrual basis using Tally, bank reconciliation, credit card and expense management,
and vendor coordination to reduce outstanding receivables. I also maintained accurate financial
records, monitored cash handling, and prepared Excel-based tracking reports to support financial
analysis.
Additionally, I gained foundational accounting and taxation experience as an Accountant
Assistant at Ayesha Ak Luxury Furniture Showroom, India, where I supported accounts payable
and receivable functions, bank reconciliation, journal entries, and assisted in filing GST returns,
strengthening my understanding of indirect taxation and statutory compliance.
Through my experience in Dubai, I have developed practical knowledge of UAE VAT
requirements, including maintaining VAT-compliant records, supporting VAT calculations,
ensuring proper documentation, and coordinating data required for VAT filings in line with
regulatory guidelines. My proficiency in ERP systems such as Tally, SAP Business, Microsoft
Dynamics, and Microsoft Excel enables me to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in
financial operations.
I hold a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounts, and I am
