I am looking for a Position in Assistant Accountant and i have overall 2 +years of experience UAE.
Here are the roles and responsibilities of the Previous company:
• Maintaining daily accounting records and updating financial transactions in accounting software such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or SAP ERP.
• Preparing and posting journal entries for sales, purchases, expenses, payments, and receipts.
• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier payments and customer collections.
• Assisting in bank reconciliation by matching bank statements with company records.
• Preparing VAT-related documents and supporting UAE VAT filing as per Federal Tax Authority regulations.
• Managing petty cash transactions and maintaining proper supporting documents and invoices.
• Assisting in payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and leave salary calculations.
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing activities and preparing basic financial reports.
• Maintaining proper filing of invoices, LPOs, delivery notes, contracts, and other accounting documents for audit purposes.
• Coordinating with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with UAE accounting standards such as International Financial Reporting Standards.
