Dear Hiring Manager,

I am an ACCA-qualified (Finalist) finance professional with over six years of progressive experience in IFRS-based financial reporting, group accounting, VAT compliance, and month-end closing processes within the UAE.
Currently, I am working as a Senior Accountant at Emad Trade House FZCO, where I am responsible for managing end-to-end month-end and year-end closing activities, preparation of financial statements, group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and analytical review of financial performance. I also ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while supporting audit finalization and financial decision-making through detailed reporting and cash flow analysis.
Previously, I worked with Nest & Rest Vacation Homes Rental LLC, where I handled full-cycle accounting operations including revenue recognition, owner settlements, rent roll analysis, VAT treatment on rental income, and supervision of junior accounting staff. My role also involved preparation of management reports, audit schedules, and coordination with property management and external stakeholders.
Earlier in my career, I gained strong foundational experience in accounts payable, receivable, VAT filing, and general ledger accounting at Didar Asia Group of Companies and Alpha Vision Pvt Ltd, where I was responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing VAT returns, reconciling accounts, and supporting audit processes.
Across all my roles, I have developed strong expertise in IFRS reporting, financial statement preparation, intercompany accounting, VAT compliance (UAE), and advanced Excel-based financial analysis. I am also proficient in accounting systems such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
