Hi, I'm a maths tutor based in Al Barsha 1, teaching students in grades 9, 10 and 11 across IGCSE, Cambridge, Oxford, Edexcel and IB MYP boards.

Over the years I've noticed most students don't actually dislike maths; they just never got a chance to understand it properly. They're taught to memorise steps to get through homework and exams, and once the method is forgotten, everything falls apart. That's the gap I try to fix.

My teaching is not about rushing through the syllabus or just helping with assignments. I go back to basics with every student and make sure they actually understand why something works, not just how to do it. Once that clicks, maths honestly becomes a lot easier and even a bit fun. And when the concepts are strong, the exam results take care of themselves.

I keep sessions relaxed and one-on-one, so students feel free to ask "silly" questions without worrying about how it sounds. Every child learns differently, so I adjust my pace and explanations based on what actually makes sense to them, not a fixed method for everyone.
