Hungary’s **White Card** allows eligible remote professionals to live in Hungary while working for a foreign employer, clients or their overseas company.

💶 **Income requirement**

Minimum **€3,000 net per month**, normally proven for at least the previous 6 months.

📌 **Main conditions**

• Work or company must be based outside Hungary

• Accommodation in Hungary
• Valid health insurance
• Sufficient funds for living and return travel

🗓️ Residence permit is generally valid for **1 year** and may be extended once for another year.

• Hungarian local employment is not allowed
• Family members cannot be included through White Card family reunification
• Eligibility depends on nationality, legal residence, income and documents
• Final approval is decided only by Hungarian immigration authorities
