Mike is still desperately looking for his forever home 🖤🤍🐾**
When the stray cats around here attacked him, he just stood there and let it happen. That's exactly his nature: gentle, almost too good-natured for the streets, and it nearly cost him his life. My neighbour and I took him in afterwards for care. Now he is urgently looking for an adopter with a loving heart, a kind soul and a calm home to adopt him, or to foster him temporarily until someone adopts him, because sadly he cannot stay with us.
His wounds have fully healed, he is in perfect health and finally feels safe.
He has his own little routine now: play after meals, then curling up nearby, watching the street below from the window. He'll let you pick him up for a minute or two of cuddles on his terms, then wants to be put down again, and that's just who he is.

He has until the end of October to be placed, because his rescuer is leaving the country. We don't want to put him back on the street, because he would become depressed again and neglect himself.
He's had visitors before who fell in love, promised to take him, then went quiet, or refused to take him, or made a different decision, as they told us.
