For Sale or Trade: 1983 Hondo H-732 ML Deluxe Series Mark II

Vintage Korean-made Hondo in excellent overall condition for its age. Produced from 1980–1983, the H-732 ML was Hondo’s Korean counterpart to the Professional Series H-1020—a Gibson “The Paul”-style model—and sat below the H-737 in the range.

Its unusual construction features laminated walnut strips running through a solid ash body and visible from the front. The natural finish, bevelled body, belly carve and matching Deluxe headstock give it a distinctive early-1980s look.

Professionally checked, restrung and set up with a comfortable action. The electronics have been expertly rewired using premium cloth-insulated wiring and Bourns low-friction pots, while retaining the original selector switch. Approximately 80% fret life remains.

There are some minor dings, marks and age-related hardware blemishes, but it presents exceptionally well for a guitar over 40 years old. It plays with a lively, resonant feel and delivers warm cleans and punchy overdriven tones suited to blues, classic rock and old-school hard rock.

No case included.

Selling only because it does not suit my playing style. Trades considered, preferably for something Japanese-made. Projects are welcome with an appropriate cash difference either way, and I may trade up with cash for the right guitar.
