Description

Matryoshka is a famous Russian stacking doll: typically a set of wooden figures of decreasing sizes placed one inside the another. The largest doll splits in half and opens, revealing a smaller doll inside, which again opens and has as even smaller doll in it, etc.
A typical matryoshka doll set consists of 3 to 10 nested figures. The classic and most traditional Russian set contains 7 dolls, which symbolizes a large and complete family (the highest number recognized by Guinness World Records is 51).

This set has three dolls, each serving as two measuring cups, so in total you will have six measuring cups: 1 cup (=250 ml), 3/4 of a cup, 2/3, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4.
Received as a gift, almost never used. Perfect condition.
