Description

Before this was a dining table, this wood held up walls deep in the Brazilian Amazon. It was salvaged from old riverside houses, the kind built a century ago from dense, ancient jequitibá hardwood and hand-crafted by artisans in Rio into the piece you see here.

The weathered paint on the drawer fronts isn't damage it's the original layered paint from the houses it came from. The iron ring pulls are original hardware. Every mark on this table has a story.

I bought it from a specialist antique shop in Rio de Janeiro. There is no other one like it in the UAE.
