What it’s good for
Its wide 100° × 100° dispersion and relatively high sensitivity make it well suited to evenly covering a room or covered outdoor area without needing many speakers. The built-in 70V/100V transformer also makes it convenient for commercial distributed-audio systems with multiple speakers on one amplifier line.jblpro+1

It is **not a powered/Bluetooth speaker**: it requires an external amplifier or commercial 70V/100V amplifier. For full-range music with strong bass, JBL recommends a 60 Hz high-pass filter; pairing it with a subwoofer is worthwhile if deep bass matters.
