Description

Selling my Luxman L-550A 80th Anniversary Edition, purchased in Japan.

This is a high-end Japanese integrated amplifier, known for its beautiful pure Class A sound, rich midrange, smooth treble and very musical presentation.

The unit was originally a Japanese domestic model and has been professionally converted to 220V by internal wiring change. The original transformer has not been changed.

The speaker binding posts for Speakers B have been professionally upgraded to modern high-quality terminals, suitable for both banana plugs and spade connectors.

The built-in phono stage is excellent, supporting both MM and MC cartridges, making it a very good choice for vinyl lovers.

One of the advantages of Luxman integrated amplifiers is their flexibility. This unit can be used as a complete integrated amplifier, or separately as a pre-amplifier or power amplifier if required, depending on system setup.
