Description

The Ubiquiti UA-G3-W G3 Reader is a compact third-generation access control reader designed for modern offices, commercial buildings, residential properties, and other UniFi Access deployments. The “-W” variant features a white finish, making it suitable for clean and discreet wall-mounted installations.

The reader supports multiple access methods, including NFC cards and keyfobs, Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and UniFi mobile unlocking. This gives organizations flexible options for managing employee, visitor, and authorized-user access without relying on a single credential type.

A built-in proximity sensor enables handwave request-to-exit functionality, while integrated audio feedback and multicolor LEDs provide clear user interaction during entry and exit. The reader connects through a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface and receives power through PoE, helping simplify cabling and installation.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, the UA-G3-W features IP55 weather protection and a durable polycarbonate and glass enclosure. Its compact dimensions of approximately 93 × 40 × 36.5 mm allow it to fit neatly beside doors and entry points.

The G3 Reader integrates directly with UniFi Access, enabling centralized credential management, door access policies, event monitoring, and modern Touch Pass functionality through the UniFi ecosystem.
