Description

The Ruijie Reyee RG-ES228GS-P is a professional 28-port Gigabit smart cloud-managed PoE switch designed for CCTV networks, offices, hotels, schools, retail stores, factories, and other SMB network deployments. Its combination of high PoE capacity, fiber uplinks, and Ruijie Cloud management makes it particularly suitable for surveillance and wireless infrastructure.

The switch provides 24 × 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports, 2 × Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, and 2 × 1GE SFP ports. This provides a total of 28 network interfaces and allows flexible connections to IP cameras, wireless access points, IP phones, NVRs, servers, and upstream network infrastructure.

Its 24 PoE+ ports support IEEE 802.3af/802.3at powered devices and provide a substantial 370W total PoE budget. The high available power makes the RG-ES228GS-P suitable for installations containing multiple surveillance cameras or wireless access points without requiring individual power adapters.

Network performance includes a 56 Gbps switching capacity and 41.6 Mpps forwarding rate. Layer 2 capabilities include port isolation, VLAN configuration, PoE watchdog, automatic loop prevention, and intelligent PoE management.

For surveillance applications, Ruijie includes IP camera and NVR recognition, IPC offline alarms, extended transmission mode, and automatic loop prevention. Extended mode can support transmission distances of up to approximately 250 metres in supported configurations.

The switch integrates with Ruijie Cloud, providing remote monitoring and management from virtually anywhere. Its rack-mountable metal enclosure and 3-year manufacturer warranty make it a practical choice for professional business and CCTV installations.
